On behalf of the West Point Society of Wisconsin, we would like to invite all members of the Wisconsin West Point Parents Association to join us at the Milwaukee War Memorial center on 4 April to celebrate the founding of the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson. Cocktails will be served starting at 5pm with dinner by Mission BBQ and guest speaker to follow.
Parents are welcome to join, as well as their cadets (cadet meals will be complimentary), in addition to cadet candidates who have either accepted an appointment to WP or are "on the bubble". Our speaker will be LTC Sugrue who is in charge of the building renovation program currently on-going at West Point who will bring insight into the extensive renovations happening at West Point, the most extensive since the early 1960’s.
Founders Day is a terrific way to gain an understanding of the military traditions and join in the camaraderie of the Profession of Arms. We look forward to hosting members of the Parents Association!
